Area Sales Manager – Security&Automation Solutions (Southwest) Salary: £40,000 Base Uncapped OTE (£60,000) Company Car/Van Fuel Card | Laptop&Phone | Private Medical Insurance | Bonus&Pension Schemes Territory: South Wales, Bristol, Somerset, Devon, Cornwall (Ideally Based in Bristol) Are You a Technically Minded Sales Professional with a Hunter Mentality? We’re seeking an exceptional Area Sales Manager to join a market-leading security and automation company . This role is perfect for someone with a background in security systems (CCTV, access control, automation) or complex technical solutions , who can confidently develop new business while managing existing accounts. What You’ll Be Doing: Hunting for New Business: Identify, target, and secure new clients across the Southwest region Account Management: Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities Technical Consultations: Deliver tailored solutions by understanding customer requirements and showcasing the technical benefits of our products Territory Planning: Create and execute a territory action plan, focusing on high-potential opportunities Lead Generation: Proactively generate leads, book meetings, and manage your own sales pipeline Product Demonstrations: Conduct engaging product demos, presentations, and technical briefings Sales Reporting: Prepare accurate reports, forecasts, and proposals for internal stakeholders Who We’re Looking For: ✅ 3 years of sales experience in security, CCTV, access control, automation, or complex technical solutions ✅ Strong business development skills – you love the thrill of closing new deals ✅ Technically minded with the ability to understand and communicate complex product features ✅ Resilient and persistent – comfortable facing rejection and bouncing back stronger ✅ Self-motivated and organized – able to manage your own schedule and work independently ✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers Preferred Backgrounds: Security Systems: CCTV, access control, or perimeter security Automation: Data automation, industrial control systems, or gate automation Technical Sales: Experience selling complex B2B solutions with long sales cycles What’s In It for You?
