We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate architectural professional to join the in-house design team of a property developer, known for creating exceptional, bespoke residential and hospitality properties around the globe. To confirm, this is a client-side role that offers you the autonomy to be hands-on from the outset, working on high-end projects from start to finish. Based in London, you will work on a diverse range of prestigious properties across Europe, and beyond, contributing to both interior and exterior design. Depending on your level of experience, you will be offered the opportunity to take ownership of projects, collaborating directly with on-site professionals and other built environment and construction experts to bring designs to life. What your typical work week will consist of Leading on the design process on select projects, working from initial concept through to project completion. Creating detailed hand sketches and diagrams to communicate both design ideas and technical solutions to colleagues and construction professionals. Collaborating with construction professionals, project managers, and suppliers to ensure high-quality project delivery. Contributing to the design of bespoke and listed buildings, with a strong focus on period architecture and heritage conservation. What you need to be considered Experience working on bespoke and/or listed buildings, with a good understanding of both interiors and exteriors. A proactive, hands-on approach, and the ability to deliver projects from inception to completion. Excellent communication skills, particularly through hand sketches, to convey design ideas clearly and effectively. A passion for period architecture, with meticulous attention to detail in high-end design. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability is key. Experience working directly with construction teams and suppliers to ensure quality delivery. Proficiency in AutoCAD - essential.
