Are you experienced in build-to-rent or single-family residential markets and have experience in acquiring new development opportunities for such developments One of the Uk’s fastest-growing and most exciting btr developers is looking to strengthen its senior management team with a director of acquisition. You will be responsible for sourcing and acquiring development opportunities while also overseeing the whole acquisition team. You will have detailed experience acquiring S106 deals and a background developing partnership residential developments with national house builders or leading housing associations. You will report directly to the managing director and run a team of 7. You will be responsible for setting the strategy and then delivering upon ambitious acquisition targets. You will come from a house building and housing association background and have operated at regional or mainboard level, whilst till being involved in acquiring S106 development opportunities. You will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and have a portable book of contacts at the leading house builders and housing associations across the UK. First and foremost, you will be a transaction expert but you will also be an innovative leader who prides themselves of developing not only your own skills but also your team and peer group.
