A Real Estate company based in Central London are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for the next step in their finance career and a role which will offer potential for progression. Reporting into the Financial Controller, your duties will include but are not limited to: Monitoring customer accounts to ensure timely payments Debtor chasing and reporting to senior team. Maintain strong relationships with customers and addressing their queries in relation to credit matters. Assist in preparing monthly management accounts. Raising Sales invoices, including foreign currency invoices Posting and reconciling bank and credit card statements. Posting purchase invoices Processing monthly staff expenses. Preparing/uploading monthly payments for employee payroll, suppliers, and other payables. Preparing and posting monthly balance sheet journals including accruals, accrued income, prepayments) Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations Assisting with year-end audit preparation and managing queries Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns. Cashflow management Project cost reporting / Job cost report preparation. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role, you will be studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA. You will be an ambitious individual who is keen to learn and progress.
